Tool-making, the Old Fashion Way

I tried my hands on tool-making when one of the men allowed me to SWEAT in his “work station.” I squatted down, grabbed a piece of metal with a clamp, put it in a burning fire, and blew air at the fire with bellows. When the craftsman gave me a hammer, it was so heavy that the head of the hammer dropped to the ground with my hand lagging behind it.
