What so special about the construction of the Multimedia Center is that it is being built inside an existing building, Carmen Hall. The center of the building was sealed off so that crew can work while classes continue in the surrounding areas.
This studio space takes up both levels of the center giving it a high ceiling for mounting lighting equipment when construction is complete.
A layout hangs on a platform titled “Typical Hanging Detail for Equipment, Ductwork, and Pipping.”
Ladders are stacked in a room where pipes and wiring will eventually get hidden behind a ceiling.
The top level will have classrooms, a conference room, and offices.
At the railing from the top level, the lower level will have a state-of-the-art recording studio.
