Leslie Lipton has suffered from anorexia since high school. After years of recovery, she wrote Unwell, a novel about a teenage girl struggling with an eating disorder. Lipton recently graduated from Barnard College and now advocates for the National Eating Disorders Association. She talked at Lehman College about anorexia and her personal struggles.
